God's Miraculous Impact: Laughing Women Ambassador Naomi Akpan in Nigeria

In John 6:35-36, Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” These words encapsulate the profound transformation and divine journey that has unfolded within the Laughing Women family in Nigeria.
With deep humility and unwavering conviction, I recall the day my phone rang, and a voice on the other end spoke with sweetness and grace. It began with these words: “Mama Naomi, the Lord has chosen you to be the ambassador of Laughing Women in Abuja. I did not choose you; God chose you. I have accepted you to serve in this capacity because if He has chosen you, He will also guide you in all things.”
And so, my journey began. Under the guiding light of the Holy Spirit, we have accomplished remarkable feats over the years. The dedicated team has consistently offered unwavering support, making it possible to reach out to those in dire need, spiritually, materially, and physically.
Our impact has extended to various areas, including:
Providing spiritual support to women in need has been at the core of our mission.
Education for All:
Offering scholarships to school children at different levels, ensuring that the doors of opportunity open widely.
Regional Outreach:
Establishing coordinators to replicate our work in regions such as Jos, Adamawa, Jigawa, Delta, Akwa Ibom, Nasarawa, Benue, and Abuja.Our mission has taken us to remote areas, where the spiritual transformation in people’s lives becomes even more evident.
School Visitation:
Through our monthly projects, we have donated learning materials to schools, contributing to improved learning environments.
Entrepreneurship:
Many women and widows have received financial support to start or expand their businesses, fostering economic empowerment.
Youth Empowerment:
Recognizing the importance of the youth, we’ve appointed a vibrant youth coordinator to oversee their activities worldwide. We’ve even established a football team bearing our foundation’s name.
The journey has been marked by God’s unwavering faithfulness. Time would fail me to detail all the achievements we’ve celebrated in these few years. Our story is a testament to the fact that God can take an ordinary individual and elevate them to make a significant impact in the lives of others.
I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Almighty, who reigns supreme over all. My gratitude goes to Madam Jite, whom the Holy Spirit guided me to call, and to every dedicated team member who has been a pillar of strength and support.
To God be the glory, for through Laughing Women, we continue to witness His miraculous work in our lives and in the lives of those we touch.
