In the solitude of my life’s deepest struggles, navigating the profound loss of my father to cancer, grappling with my mother’s illness, and narrowly escaping a life-threatening carbon monoxide incident with my children, I found myself in a desolate place. The pillars of support, friends, family, and even the church seemed to crumble, leaving me abandoned and utterly alone.
Amidst this darkness, I felt a stirring, a calling from God, a yearning to be utilized for His glory. Despite my loneliness and frustration, I clung to a belief that there was a purpose for me. The moment of divine intervention arrived, shattering the silence. Sitting on my bed, the name “Laughing Women” echoed through my being—a profound revelation that would soon become the cornerstone of a transformative ministry.
The year 2016 marked the genesis of Laughing Women Ministries, a venture born from desperation, a heart crying out for God’s guidance. As the weight of despair lifted, replaced by a newfound sense of purpose, I embarked on this journey of faith. The Bible scriptures, particularly Genesis 21:6, resonated as a guiding force, symbolizing the promise of laughter and joy in the face of adversity.
